Don't Bicker - Try Finding Something Else To Do
« on: September 07, 2007, 02:54:30 PM »

We all know the more we're around somebody the better the chance for argument.  Too much of anything can be a bad thing.   Sometime it's good to just back off a bit and make the come back in smaller doses.

Instead of spending so much time on this forum or any forum for that matter, try something else for a bit.

For example:

If you want read more about this ride look here:  http://www.twtex.com/forums/showthread.php?p=294727#post294727

This ride was on Labor Day and I had a blast.  So much so that I can't wait to do it again.

So, bottom line....try to respect the posts of others and let's all be friends.

It's kind of addictive Jerry. If I am one of the intended recipients of the post.... my greatest flaw is that I'm not mad or bickering, just entertaining myself throwing a little crap at Paul. And I suspect he's fine with it.  He has never taken anything I say seriously before.

However, if the collateral damage is that my nature and manner of expression upsets onlookers....I really don't wanna do that, so lemme know?   8)

Damn, I have been trying to find a dual purp bike that will fit me for years---Decades and they are all too tall for my short legs. How tall are you and did you make some height adjustments on it???? My last dual purpose bike that worked well for me was the first Yahama DT 1 enduro that hit Florida in I think 19 68-69.  I rode many enduros, TT scrambles and early motorcross back then on that bike. One of those bikes I wish I still had along with the best all purpose cruisers/ off road bikes I wish I still had -A 1949 Harley 74.   Barn

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

I seen you 'round for a long long time
I really 'membered you when you drink my wine

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

I seen you walkin' down in Chinatown
I called you but you could not look around

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

I bring my money to the welfare line
I see you standing in it every time

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

The color of your skin don't matter to me
As long as we can live in harmony

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

I'd kinda like to be the President
so I can show you how your money's spent

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

Sometimes I don't speak too bright
but yet I know what I'm talking about

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

I know you're working for the CIA
they wouldn't have you in the Mafia

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?
Why can't we be friends?

LOL!!!

I'm siitting here at  Sam's Boat with Paul and Gabe having a beer and contemplating some of our actions, and we would like to collectively say the following:

we are very sorry for the discord that any of the three of us have caused on this forum. we would like to apologize for any discomfort or resentment created.... only because of our callousness. please accept our apology.

naaah, not really. we don't care. get over it. ;D ;D ;D

Ok, Martin, this sounds like some of Sam''s Boat juice talking. ;D  You get over it. :-*  Tell Paul and Gabe I said hi.

I'm 5'7", 28-29 inseam.  Yep it's tall.  I just throw my left leg over from the right side & hop up.  The suspension compresses enough for my elevator gothic style MC boots to reach the ground.  This weekend the bike gets lowered 3".  If I need more, Corbin makes a dished out seat that is an 1 1/2" lower.  There are plenty of options to get your feet on the ground.
