Anybody here familiar with the Gold Wing's valve adjustment procedure? I have some questions.

I've got a set of repair discs on the GW that I won at the Kerrville Gathering..I haven't watched all of them, but if it's something I can help with I would be glad to watch.

Great. I'm trying to find out how long it takes, if it's simply popping the covers to access them, and if they're screw adjustable or shim/bucket or if they are hydraulic lifters (which I don't believe is the case). If you get time to see let me know. I read over some Gold Wing sites, but found nothing to answer my questions.

Jim, I looked on the parts fiche on HDL. It looks like they are the bucket-shim type. And the shims are $5.82 each. O0 At least they are out on the sides though.

A friend of his has a Wing, and they were discussing some maintenance issues. Mostly curiosity.

I have a maintenance manual, if you want to barrow it. I was thinking about driving out there Monday. I could bring the manual if you want.
