kenny, carla, bennie and i rode the wings, we picked up tom in rising star, rode in the rain till the other side of abilene, was nice all the way to raton new mexico, we spent the night there, thought our wives did great going 700 miles the first day, the next day we rode over the royal gorge on our way to denver. was a really good turn out, lots of people fron texas. rode every day, at least 2-300 miles a day through some of the most beautiful country i've seen in a long time, was always cool in the mountains, had some temps on mt. evans and on trailridge in the rocky mountain state park that were in the 50's with wind chills in the 40's, even sleeted on us on the 4th. coming over the trailridge( highest continuous rode in the US) bennie had to fly home on the 4th. i left on the fifth and tried to ride in the mountains all the down through new mexico, but rain in the mountains kept me in the valleys, but was still awesome!!! rode south and then east back toward roswell new mexico, made a swing by ruidoso, then on to roswell where i got there in time for the ufo festival, had to go through the alien museum.  ::) made it home friday afternoon around 6:30, was an awesome trip!!! can't wait to do it again. will see if i can learn how to post some of the pic's, but pic's don't do it justice, it is something that you have to see yourself, have too many stories to tell here, so till i see ya'll again, also will try to call kenny tomorrow and see how he is doing

talked to kenny last night, said they had some over 100 days going north, but that glacier park was even better than what we saw in colorado, and was still having fun. :)
