2 wheel tunes or Rumble Roads?
« on: June 23, 2007, 08:41:43 PM »

I am thinking of getting the 2 wheel tunes on the bike, does anyone already have them, or the Rumble road speakers installed.

Here are pics of my Rumble Road setup, I have went with a Sirius sarellite radio, sound is good, can hear pretty well at speeds up to 90mph. A lot of the setup depends on your music source, if you will plug into a walkman, ipod type device it is a simple plug and play, going with a source like the satellite that uses the bikes battery is a little bit more complicated, also volume control is also another issue to deal with. If you have any other questions let me know, I am pretty impressed with my knowledge that I have gained over the last few months.

You might also want to check out custom cycle sounds in Pearland. I have been very pleased with their set-up. It really rocks now that I got the nano instead of a couple of cheap mp3 players.

Randy,
I called them the day after BBT.  The Blaupunkt speakers are no longer being made, and he is pushing the 2 wheel tunes setup.  I am looking at Unik Cycle Sounds.  Have heard them, and they are as loud as yours are, I think, and for less than $300.
