That may be the "law" but it isn't the norm. If you have the money to buy the property and "pay the Mexican Govt. off" then you can certainly have waterfront property. Just ask Sammy Hagar.

I certainly wouldn't even bring this one up if I weren't originally from America. Again, here in the US we (read, the Politically Correct asses and the ACLU) allow and support these types of demonstrations, foreign flag waving, political organizing (La Raza???) and all the bad mouthing of the President that can be fit in a 30 minute segment on CNN. No one gets sent home. In fact, shouldn't we be there when the illegals are out parading around to scoop them up and drag them back to their respective homelands?

Nope, Mexico does a great job at this but expects free passage into the US for their fleeing citizens. One of my best friends from college is a US Border Patrol and he has thousands of stories about arresting the same illegals over and over in a 48hr period and his hands are tied as far as what he can do.

I don't think Jimmy was trying to stir the pot. This is simply and black and white issue. Unfortunately, both sides of the government are trying to blur it into a grey area.
