Looking for exhaust trade for 04 1300c
« on: June 16, 2007, 08:20:08 PM »

Exhaust is from an 04 1300c

Im dying for some different louder exhaust........call me crazy but I want that obnoxiously loud exhaust. Currently ive got the cobra slash cut set up with the cobra header so I guess its actually the deluxe set up. It sounds good and clean and barks when you get on it but im looking for a different look and sound.

The pipes are in good shape but there are a couple blemishes with them. The lower tip is scraped on the bottom from turns, and the back cylinder header has a hazy spot in the chrom over the bend where I burned a pair of pants to them and scratched the chrom buffing it off. I am also looking for a pipe that has a set diameter all the way down the pipe and a shorter length so the wheels will show. I like these better than the larger diameter slash cut ends that I have now.

What I would like to do is trade for some pipes either bub jug huggers, HK classic american straits, Hackers, Vance and Hines big shots, or possibly a different cobra.

Its a long shot but Im hoping someone might be interested in a trade plus cash.

yeah should work

basically all you do is cut the grated bafling out of the muffler and weld in a section of strait pipe. effectively making them drag pipes with a slash cut look. Then you put a washer on a bolt on the inside near the end and it creates the needed back pressure to make them run right.

check the second reply from biddy with the sound clip and link for the washer technique
