Ken Rhodes
« on: April 01, 2017, 05:50:59 PM »

I know a few of you know Ken Rhodes. He had a MC wreck at 290 and 1960. He is beat up but ok, There evidently was another Rider that was down in front of him which caused him to crash. I don't have all the details but apparently the other rider didn't make it.

He doesn't get on the board much. Him and his wife hosted the memorial for Hipshots wife, Marigold.

Hate to hear this, prayers for quick recovery and especially for the family of the rider that didn't make it.

Here's the official report, This is by the onramp that I take to get onto 290. I remember hitting this section of road in the dark while driving the car a couple of weeks ago and thinking that I was glad that I was not on the bike.

This was all caused by a "lengthy pothole"?  Senseless loss of life due to shoddy workmanship.

Oh wow, My wife knows the wife of the guy that didn't make it.  it was a shock to me but now knowing that I know the other rider involved "Ken" makes me even more sad.   I hope Ken is ok.

The other rider that didn't make it left behind a wife and two kids.  the oldest kid was only his and the mother had pass away when he was a little.  Now the widow has custody of him as both of his parents are no longer alive.  Is a small world.

That is crazy...sorry to hear that about the kids.  Someone needs to be alerted to this pothole or whatever it is before another accident happens.

It's where a temperary lane change meets the regular concrete roadway. Treacherous.
