It's gone.................

My VTX is sold and gone today. :'( :-\ I took farewell pictures. My greatest regret is that after putting 3k in cosmetic adds on it, including a 4pc ultimate seat, and knowing that it was in good shape and had many many more motorcycling miles left in it...I wish I was buying my X for $5990.  It was a great bike, I enjoyed everyday that I got on it and I'll miss it. Yall have fun on yours.

Glad to see you resolved that, Martin, but wish you could have gotten more ca$h.  :'(

Put a couple of miles on the Feejer, you'll feel better. I finally got the paperwork I need to get plates on mine. Too bad it's freakin' Saturday, with the license bureau closed until Tuesday!!! I am calling the dealer on Tuesday, and give him the opportunity to talk me out of giving them shitty feedback on eBay. It has been a comedy of errors. That being said, I'll slip out for a few miles this weekend, sans plates....  ;)

well now you have some spending money for your Tour of France...  let's see $5990 could last you what... 1 week... not sure how much the Euro is now, but last time I used one it cost me $1.35   have fun with your wife in France... drink a beer for me and find out why AMERICAN beer sucks...

Had you thought about taking off the bolt-on parts and selling them separately?  It's my experience that Joe off the Street won't give you a thin dime for your Ultimate seat if it's ON the bike...but he'll give you money if it's not.  Stupid, I know, and too late... but there you have it.
