if anyone wants to drive by my house and see if it's under water.......ahhh, nevermind. I don't really care.

Yeah, I thought about that, but then remembered you didn't care!  O0

I was watching the news earlier and they were showing one of the Sky Cams, and there were two boats in one of the bayous.  Only in Houston!

Made it to work in the med center and made it home. steve went in late so we could carpool since I didn't need to be there til 8. Left at 6:30. Should have been to the med center no later than 7:30 I would have guessed, maybe even earlier. It took probably an hour on 288 at 610 to go about 3 miles. Once we cleared it - looked like it had been flooded (dirt and trash, mud on the road) and there were about 10 cars scattered on both sides as well as 2 metro busses! Car parts scattered in the road too. Nice!  ::) OST had one part we passed that was completely covered w/ water, but made it thru and then another part before Fannin that was partially covered. Got to work about 8:05. Whew! 20 people supposed to be there today (LAST day of orientation - thought it would never end! lol) and only 6 showed up. TONS of call outs to the various floors and units.

Dh said he got to work and it looked like a holiday or something. Maybe 20 cars in the parking lot. But we persevered and survived! Now we're home - whew! Safe and sound! Now it's MY nap time! ROFL!

Made it to work early. The Northside wasn't bad at all. Most of the poeple from the South didn't show. Including someone who was supposed to start today, and I don't think she called.

Did you know that transtar flags hgih water areas? Looked at it earlier today the map had a bunch of red flags. Looks pretty good now.
