Welfare!
« on: April 12, 2007, 12:16:47 PM »

Like a lot of people, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am subject to a random urine test, which I have no problem with. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their butt. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? Pass on if you agree. Then let your congressman know how you feel about this.

woohoo I love that statement right there...maybe I would see a little more in my paycheck if they implemented a urine test for all needing financial assistance.

I hated the piss test when I was in the navy on a nuc sub, but I could see the need, then the railroad started random piss test on employees. Next thing you know you can't get a job at Burger King, without pissing in a jug. Yet no test to collect what is due for doing nothing. It pays better than working.and you can keep your side job selling dope. something is wrong here. The war on drugs has had little effect on those who use and sell drugs, but it has taken away the option of dignity for the rest of us.
