I'm with you Jim. Me and a buddy did an iron butt in my truck to Memphis and back to buy his bike. We stopped and slept for 3 hours because the dealer wasn't open, and were at the dealers for about 3, then started back. The whole trip was 26 hours. That includes the pig trails he took thinking he was going to save time.
He unloaded the bike in the dark and ran straight over a concrete parking wheel stop after only going 15 feet. He was pissed. I went home.
