Just a thought.

I was starting to orgainize all my "stuff" to bring up to the rally, and came up with a thought that might be good for some.

I've always had the idea of a "swap meet" for our orgainization. Everyone has some sort of VTX part "doo-dad" lying around the garage that they'd sell if they could. Use your own judgement, if you're riding to the rally, it can't be too big. Maybe some stock mirror's, a small chrome piece you didn't like, just something you can carry. If you're trailering, that's a different story. Maybe a stock seat someone would want to send in and have redone. Maybe bigger parts, ie: covers, fender's, handle bar's, etc. Those you could carry back with out a problem.

We can make a space in he registration area to have a "store". Write your name, model specific info, & price on some masking tape, then stick it on the part. Small parts you can put in a zip-lock bag. You never know someone may want to buy it, and you'll get some traveling money. Or, someone will see it, buy it, and ask you to mail it to them. At least you sold it! Better than collecting dust.

We often hear of someone who's bike fell over, or they had a minor mishap, and would like to buy someone's discarded stock parts.  A left side mirror, stock hand grip, turn signals, or any other odds & ends that get scratched.

Like I said, just a thought.
