just a heads up for everybody. was reading on the national board about this last week so i figured i'd take a look at mine since this seems to be a problem spot for a bike this heavy. i was very amazed by what i found, actually very upset. my bushings were shot!! take a look.
note this one, the bushing is torn in-two.
after finding this i did a little more research and found a guy by the name of gary that makes a polyurethane replacement instead of the soft rubber stock ones. did some research and he comes highly recommended. so i emailed him, said he had plenty on hand. so i paypalled him on sunday and had the replacements 3 days later. fitment is perfect and you can definetly tell the difference. the following link takes you to the website that explains the problem. it also tells how to get ahold of gary and prices. pay special attention to the fact that you need to order 2 sets to do the X. check it out and good luck.
