Tires
« on: February 13, 2007, 11:21:30 AM »

I realize that this may have been discussed before, and somewhat of ignorant questions, but I would rather look dumb amoung friends than to ask someone on the outside.  When buying replacement tires for my 1300S,

1) Do all tire types accept tubes?

2) Why the tubes?

3) Can you sub-out non-tubes for tubeless on the stock rims?

 ??? ???

With the spoke rims you're limited to tube-type tires :o. You cannot substitute :'(.

You have to use tubes because a radial will leak through the area that the spokes are attached.
