harley fairings for vtx
« on: August 25, 2006, 12:14:45 AM »

I am interested in putting a harley front fairing on a 2002 vtx1800c, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, and if so, which years of fairings might work best, how to modify it to fit, and any other problems or concerns associated with the job, other than harley riders' being upset that the vtx looks better and runs better. thanks for your help.

I think you're looking for the Hoppe fairing, unless you're trying to mount a stock harley one.

Sorry bout that.  They're the small led's on custom brackets that he turned, but in the stock location.

You can also get a wealth of info from the VTXOA National Board...http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/index.php

You can search for words like "fairing", "hoppe", etc...
