Attached below is the 2007 Bluebonnet Thunder Rally flyer, for the schedule of events. As in the past many of you members have taken this flyer, and posted it at your local Honda dealerships, Independent dealers, and watering holes. Along with the Texas X Riders web-site, this flyer is one of the best ways to get the word out, that we have an up-coming event.
Several of you are "Master's" in acquiring merchandise from the dealership to be given as door-prizes at the rally. I'm calling on your support again this year. This rally is shaping up to be a big one, and we can use all the help we can get. To assist you in having something to respond with when you approach a dealer, I've listed some key talking points below.
- The Texas X Riders is a "Riding Group", not a Club.
- We have a web site, and invite them to check it out.
- We have over 900 members.
- Most members travel to and from most major cities frequently. Knowing what dealer can fill their needs is important to them.
- Their Dealership name, phone #, and web address, will be listed on over 100+ event programs given to members from all over the state.
- As the door prizes are given, the Dealership name will be announced as the contributor.
- We are a model specific orgainization (VTX's), and they will be targeting their direct market.
These are just a few, and I'm sure you have addtional idea's. Be sure to get all the information of the Dealership: Name, address, phone #, and web address.
Any merchandise you receive, bring it to the rally with you. I would like to have the Dealers information before hand, so I can list them on the Event Schedule. Please send me a PM as soon as you get the Dealer information.
