on the other hand, if you don't tell 'em, they might not even notice. Removing the emissions stuff also technically makes it illegal to ride on the road..... but we all do it. they'd have to prove that having no pair valve affected whatever else went wrong if you had a warranty issue. just grind the screw heads down and put the reeds back in, you can always put the whole mess back on, although nobody has EVER done that....
