LED turn signal problems
« on: April 30, 2006, 09:47:17 AM »

I have front and rear led turn signals on my 1300C. I installed the load eq. for both the front and rear as well. All went well for the first couple of days, but now my right side blinks fast and my left side blinks normal. In the front I have the Show Chrome amber led's with the clear stock style lenses and the Kurry bullet's in the rear.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

By the way, I'm kinda new to the VTX family so forgive me if this question has been answered a million times already.

Thanks,

Sorry, no ideas. I'm not much of a wrench. I advise you to post your question on the national board.

are you sure the light bulbs are good? i know alot of cars that when a bulb goes out it will blink very fast because of the load difference on the blinker relay.
check the bulb.

IMHO, dump the load equalizer. The faster blink rate gets people's attention when you signal a turn or lane change.

Is there any damage that can occur not using a load equalizer.  The reason I'm asking is that I don't want to risk frying Marias stop light.
