I had a flat the other day, after removing the tire I just happened to check the wheel bearing and it was rough.  I have a five-year extended warranty that still has about 1 1/2 years on it so I took it to my local Honda shop.  They called Honda warranty and they refused to replace it.  So I called Honda warranty after and after a lengthy discussion I was told that the only things that that the warranty would replace were manufacturing defects. they would not replace anything that was wore out.  Strange I thought, why would you buy a warranty that had unlimited mileage when the only thing that the warranty would replace were manufacturing defects? man I hope that I never had any serious trouble because that warranty will not do me any  good at all.  I wonder if I can get my money back on what's left of it?

i would try talking to someone else, i've read about several other cases where the extended warranty covered this issue. you can do a little research on the national board to get an idea of what i'm talking about. good luck.

Crewsn I just finished changing them myself it was really easy, you know the adrenaline that you get when you're mad and your doing something?I called Honda several times on this matter and got the same answer every time "the extended warranty only covers factory defects".  Too bad, for them, I've never seen a warranty that had unlimited mileage but they wouldn't fix anything that broke during the warranty limit.  I will never buy another one, thanks anyway

sorry to hear they wouldn't work with you, thier loss. it's a funny thing, seems i read about this alot. one dealer fixing it and the next saying it's not covered under the warranty. wonder why? anyway, live and learn i guess, at least you're up and riding again.

Was it the wheel bearing or the flange bearing in the final drive? I would think they should replace eather but my flange was repaced!

IT was the flange bearing and I thought that I too had read some where in these post that some one or several people with the same problem had gotten there's fixed buy the dealer under warranty?? Honda was very adamant  about not changing it and saying that it went bad because of improper maintenance or abuse...how you could do that to a set of sealed bearings I'll never know.
