BOO RALLY
« on: October 12, 2006, 11:04:24 AM »

Since there are several people from the North Dallas area that have mentioned going to this rally I am taking a poll. Who is planning on leaving the metroplex on Saturday morning? It would need to be like KSU @ 6:00 at the latest to make it to the rally on time for the poker runs etc. If enough people are going to do Saturday I'll wait around otherwise I'm going Friday by 2:00pm. Just thought I'd post and see the feedback. (i'd really rather go Friday)  ::) ::) ::)

Would be at least 6 pm before I could get out of here Fri. The suggestion to meet in Mineola Sat morning early sounded good to me.

Bump and a look at the prize:

Directions for those wanting to come:

Ok guys. I checked Jefferson out last Friday. A good place to meet at Jefferson will be at the old car wash. Where the star and Skinners bar is, is right in the thick of the main area: They announce the winner of the drawing for the bike and trailer acrss the street from skinners. The whole area where the star is will  be covered up or non parking areas, and they will direct you to a parking spot. If the group comes in together, we can park close to each other, whereas if we park at different times,  we could end up many blocks away. For those coming up from the south, the marked route is 59 buisness, whereas 59 goes straight through. I have marked the route from 59 to the main event in red.

Complete thread at: http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=1817.0

It's this Fri-Sun, Drawing on Sat. The main events!

Well, a bunch of us (about six or seven known, at present) are meeting up in Hawkins for breakfast Sat morning. 7:15 at Jewels cafe, intersection of 80 and 14...see pic.

Will leave there and head to Jefferson. Will try to arrive at the car wash 9:30 to meet and ride in together, see pic in previous post for car wash location.
Plan on leaving the car wash to head to the rally site at 9:45, so those that wish can participate in the Poker run.
I and possibly others will head to Texarkana to the Blues and BBQ festival at Stateline and 3rd.
