I'm thinking about selling both of my bikes, (1800 and 883), and getting one midsize bike. (Getting too old for the 1800, and need to free up some garage space, and cut the insurance premium!)
I would consider swapping the 1800, based on the book value of both bikes, +/- the difference in cash. (Seems like a fair, easy way to do it.)
I'd like to have a 1300 R; I have a beautiful red '03 1800 C, w/5500 miles, that is just about perfect. (The stock muffler has been modified for sound, and it has a side-mount license plate.)
NADA shows the values as follows:
2003 1800 C..... $8255
2003 1300 S...... $5925
2004 1300 R/S... $6535

I will be adding Leatherlykes, sissybar, engine guards, etc. to the 1300, so I'll allow extra value if your bike already has any of them.
PS: I'd make a similar deal swapping my '04 HD 883 Custom w/5700 miles. (NO FLAMES PLEASE!!)
