Throttle Position Sensor
« on: March 09, 2014, 10:27:25 AM »

Anyone,

Do any of you all know of, or have and alternate part number for the TPS on '02 vtx1800s. Tried looking up the part number on the old one but have found nothing. There has to be an alternate to avoid having to purchase entire throttle body assembly just for a TPS.

any and all help appreciated,

The only people I can find who "might" have the part you are looking for is Ron Ayers. They have throttle sensors for all kinds of Honda bikes. I didn't know the 1300's had throttle sensors.  But I couldn't find one for the 1800. Call them and talk to them maybe they messed up the search feature.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.
