LOOKING FOR MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE
« on: January 29, 2014, 08:21:20 PM »

it's time to get the VTX insured again and I was wondering what insurance companies out there have a good rate.  I know is based on driving record and credit score... bla bla bla.

who do you recomend and how much you paying, and what coverage you have?  (full coverage or liability).

I had Geico for the last 10 years and I noticed that their claims service took a huge dive so I cancel them and I am now with Germania.  They took very good care of us when someone stole the wheels from our suburban.  I would not expect anything less that that from a Texan company.      but they don't insure motorcycles.

We have both our bikes with Foremost for the past 7 years.  We have had 4 claims during that time and they have come thru with flying colors and have not raised our rates.  We have full coverage and it runs us around $350/bike.  I highly recommend them for home and motorcycle.

I have State Farm. I have 2 vehicles plus my bike plus my renters insurance and am paying a little less than $200.00 a month. Been with them for almost 30 years. I have full coverage on everything.

I called my agent and they sell progressive and safeco, I will keep y'all posted on what rate I get quoted.
She did say that since the bike was with out insurance, safeco may not want to insure it.   Will see what price she comes up with.
