Found new beer or it found me

Ran into a bunch at my hotel today, they were grilling frogs, shrimp, osyters on the pit and had cajun music blasting. Of course I had to introduce myself  :lunch: they offered me a beer ANDYGATOR (Helles Doppelbock), free beer,
I slamed down a few and thought, damm I am feeling really right.  Then I read the lable 8% by vol..
Thosstuff is made in Abita Springs LA, grab some if u get a chance :c :c :c

They brew some good beers and their Purple Haze is good as well.Next time in Galveston the Gumbo Bar carries both  .

With the current trend towards Marijuana acceptance, I just wonder how long it will be until a beer manufacturer decides to get on the bandwagon and market his beer toward the stoner sect. I can almost see it now, a svelte, barely dressed voluptuous chick slinking along the floor towards you on her hands and knees, tounge wetting her ample lips, the old aqua velva striptease song playing in the background, she gets even with your knees with her head and leans up with a andygator in one hand and a joint in the other! You have to love america!!!

OOOPS ladies. sorry if I got carried away. It is early in the morning. Well. we all know what early morning does to a guy. I know you ladies don't get really perking till about two in the afternoon, but hey. Just wait till this afternoon and reread this.

Ate lunch at a place yesterday that serves AndyGator Beer...Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar.  Thinking of putting it in the rotation for Houston M&Gs.  It will probably only be attended by the diehards...it is in League City, right off I45 and Hwy 646.  Excellent food and lots of beer and wine choices.

The tour at Abita Springs is fun.  20 minutes to try as many beers as you want prior to the tour, then another 20 minutes or so after the tour to drink as many beers as you want.  Pour your own, not tiny little samples.  We stopped their last year on our ride to Daytona Beach.
