Blinkers too fast - SOLVED!
« on: October 14, 2013, 05:10:00 PM »

Just an FYI, I installed the Kuryakyn load equalizer on my Kuryakyn module and now the blinkers blink like they are supposed to.

While I was getting stuff ready like a tool kit and stuff for the ride in 3 weeks (yeah, I can't wait) I plugged in the 12v air compressor and blew the fuse.  While I was messing with that the wire that had melted a little on the exhaust decided it was time to stop working as well.  So, fixed the fuse, threw away the 12V air compressor and rewired the speakers (spliced out the part that was melted).  So....blinkers, speakers, and 12volt plug all working again.

WOW!  Some luck you got there.  The good thing is that now you know that it is done right!

Not luck, I knew it was like that a while back and didn't do anything about it.  The 12V compressor already had the fuse missing and I hot linked it so I got what I deserved.  If I would have fixed the melted wire in the first place....well...you know the story.  Just getting familiar with the bike as I say.  At this point, one the bushings that I ordered are installed, I feel that this thing will be very solid and ready for a lot of miles.

This sucker still looks bad Cranberries!!  I am out in the garage tonight listening to Pandora and installing my Kuryakyn Tour Bag.....put my tool kit together (using tools that I needed to fix the other stuff and then some) got everything loaded where I want it and am ready.  I even have a mount for the phone so I can take video of parts of the ride.  That mount has the Michigan Antenna ball that my recently deceased friend had hanging from his mirror....gonna take him on this ride.
