i heard this morning through friends that the family of the deceased women were talking about taking legal actions against the driver of the Goldwing (my friends father).

My bad I didn't read it right I meant the rider that left her there.

The rider that left her there is a piece of crap and it should all be on him! But it is very disturbing on how things work out in this day and age!

did anyone read any of the comments posted?  People that know the parties involvde said that he hit the wall and some how manage to keep the bike up, then he caught up with the other bike and ther realized the passanger was not there any more.  The article is not too clear on some details of what happen...  either way is a sad tragedy.

The guy hit the wall. The girl fell off.  The trike hit her got control and stopped.  The lady that fell off was the sister to the lady on the back of the trike. 

I saw the scene the next day.  He was on the wall for about 100 yards. Pretty crazy that he could keep riding.  Must have had crash bars.  He needs to be taking out back by some bikers.....

Wait what??  I am friends of the trike riders son.  I was told that the 2 bikes are not related to reach other at all. 

I was told the following.   3 lanes of travel.  Kawasaki was in left lane, hit wall passenger fell off landing in middle lane rider didn't stop.  Trike was something like 30 seconds behind traveling in right lane.  Traffic came to an emergency stop in front of trike, forcing trike to take emergency action and change to middle lane.....

Just what I read.  Plus it is only 2 lanes right there.  3 lanes are about 200 yards south of where he hit the wall.
