Replacing my starter switch.
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:37:00 PM »

well, my starter switch gave up the ghost.  so i am replacing it.  started to take thing apart, looks like the throttle cable needs to come off the bike, so tank needs to come off....

before i start ripping things off the bike, can someone point me to, or tell me a quick "how to" to replace this thing?  (do i need to take the tank off?)

I have a new starter switch, and was thinking about getting new throttle cables (to much rust on the old ones).

You don't need to take the tank off but is definitely easier removing it but almost a neccisity to remove the air cleaner
