Oil Filter Test
«

Using my Goldwing as a "test mule", I did a pressure test on various oil filters to see how much pressure drop they produced in the engine.
There's been quite a bit of discussion concerning which filters are bad and which ones are good or even better than OEM, so I decided to do some research (allot actually) and did my own test on some of the more popular brand filters that fit both the wing and the VTX. Both engines use the same filter, have similar oiling systems and the same operating pressures so these results can be carried over and are applicable to the VTX.
If your interested/curious as to how the filter your using stacks up, take a look.
