On the other hand, perhaps if we were to ramp up the debates the millions of morons who continue to support some of those fools might finally begin to realize that it's way past time to overhaul the system. Electing new crops of entitlement opportunists and throwing them into what the political system has become will not generate change. We need to find people who understand integrity and who want to work for their constituents rather than for their party, and put them in office. Our media doesn't seem to want that, and the parties certainly don't want that, and millions of voters with their heads in the sand are allowing the media and the parties to tell them what they want and how to vote.
I'm amazed that I still hear so much political "debate" that consists of "It's okay for my party's guy to [lie, cheat, steal, perjure, philander......... pick one] because the guy from your party did it."
