Dealing with boredom
« on: September 08, 2011, 01:32:21 PM »

This is how our highly trained, professional officers deal with the boredom on a slow day. As you can see, we've managed to retain our sense of humor in this lighthearted interaction with the public.

Back in the early 80's , I worked for a chewing tobacco company. I was passing thru the little town of Frankston Tx. when the Local Yokel(town cop) pulled me over. I couldn't figure out why as I was always careful passing thru there. Buford T. Justice walks up to my car and says " Boy, you can't pass thru my town without leaving me some samples."  I said" you sob you gave me a heart attack cause you needed some chew!"  "Yup, I'm out". In those days ,We gave that stuff away by the truck load so we both had a good laugh and I went down the road but I always left chew samples for the Frankston PD when I passed thru.

Life is too short for drama or petty things, so laugh hard, love truly and forgive quickly. Live While You Are Alive. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.
