I am really not liking the amount of water pump changes. Is it really that common for water pumps to go out?  What seems to be the reason these pumps keep going bad? Is this the same reason for all? Are they defective or just wearing out before their time?  Did Honda warranty the pumps if not what was the cost and time for the change?

Something has to keep the service department busy.  Could be worse, it could be internal engine.

I would love to come but I took last weekend off for football and have to work this weekend so wont be able to make this one.  Thanks for the invite just the same.  Oh yea...when my truck was in the shop I was riding my VTX to work and not getting on it just riding with a smooth gas on and off and my bike got right at 190 miles before I got gas and the tank still had some in it. But, if you get on it your mileage can be cut in half.  Thats with my Hypercharger and Jardines.
