this is what happens....
« on: February 28, 2011, 09:50:21 AM »

hey guys,

sorry i havent been around lately, I have been trying to stay busy with work and such. but now as of yesterday i thought i could take this time to say hi everyone. I miss reading the forums and interacting with you guys.

Well yesterday i decided to take my bike on for a ride and one thing ive noticed to the amount of rust that has build up on my bike... FORTUNATELY its only on the parts that i wanna replace like my mirrors and exhaust pipes, and some other parts of the bike. I washed my bike and scrubbed the rust off ( only about 5 percent of rust is still visible). but the mirrors had so much build up that i used an electric grinder to remove them... i have to say its looks a lot better but im still gonna replace them...

now that i have a garage i can park my bike there... I never thought moving to galveston could be so much trouble on my bike and truck.... but its still worth living here  ;D

ya take care :P

damn, that's nasty.  I'm sorry, but Galveston is not worth that happening to my bike or truck. :stickpoke:  Maybe you should sand blast everything and considering murdering it out (making it all black).  :notworthy:

Never Dull  you can by it at wal mart  in the automotive section. I used it in the navy to polish everything.

HOLY RUST BUCKET!!  ;D
Be sure you clean your rims good! If you have the cast ones and riding near salt they will start pitting!

Ahhh, But Mother's and a powerball will do wonders on removing the obvious stuff.

And it's good for boat parts, too. On Friday, you couldn't see out the ports on Impetuous, On Sunday, 2 dead cordless drill batteries later, they were nearly new looking.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.
