Harley Salesman at Strokers in Dallas

So I park my bike at Strokers, get a beer and walk back to my bike to find this guy going over it. He start chatting me up about how nice my bike is, I tell him Thanks. He hands me his card and says he is Sales manager at a Harley store. He would give me top dollar if I wanted to trade in my bike, he says VTX are prime bikes. I said "Yep, that is why I own this one. If I wanted a Harley I would have bought one, I have ridden every manufacturer of bikes and have chosen Honda for last 12 years. Nothing against Harley, my brother and most of my cousins ride Harley's. I enjoy sitting and enjoying a beer waiting for them to catch up and get here." Just smiled and walked away, took his card to be polite.  :bikerider:

top $$$ for a VTX is $4k....  everyone I know that has traded a VTX for a harley got $4K... Oh wait that was before Honda had the fire sale and sold new 1800's for less than what a 1300.   I wonder how much an 1800 will get now on trade  ???

Who knows what it would get on a trade!  I didn't buy my X to trade or sell.  I bought it to keep and enjoy!  I've demo ridden a lot of bikes and have never discovered one yet that I would rather own.
