Changed the break fluid for the first time at 47486 miles, BROWN ---- replaced with dot 4 synthetic -- can't tell ya what a difference, the bike actually stops now  :ohwow: :ohwow: :ohwow:
Speed Bleeders make this a quick and easy one person job

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally wornout, shouting..."What a Ride!"

You can get them direct from SpeedBleeder.
www.speedbleeder.com
or
Cycle Gear
or
Dorman Products

The VTX 1800 uses the following:
I installed the stainless Speed Bleeders on all locations, Front used  (qty. 4 of p/n SB8125L#)  and rear used(qty.1 of p/n SB8125L#).
The Speed Bleeders are 5/16” SAE stainless steel hex stock with metric threads, M8x1.25mm pitch, size long (L) 32.5 mm.
