Well, it seems forever since i've been on here, March 27 to be exact other than for 10 min back in April.  I'm doing great compared to where I was back in the beginning.  I'm still under doctors care and they haven't let me start walking yet.  Will probably be sometime around the middle of June before that happens.  I just want to take a little of your time and give my thanks to all who called, visited, or asked about my condition, but most of all for all the prayers.  All I can say is "I was Lucky".  Yall all take care and I'll be back on here regular as soon as I can.

HURRY !  :stickpoke: :good:

  It is hard to start walkig again, but you can do it , just take it a day at a time and a step at a time, listen to doctors but try not to get disgusted, been through it twice now and drive myself to doctor and finally live on my own too. God Speed

Well, I'm up and at'em again.  Started the walking process on June 2, so I've been at it about a week now.  It was painful at first, but things are getting better.  I've got the walker , but will soon be ditching it for a cane.  My Physical therapist is already ditching me...lol.  Recommendations are for pool therapy now.  She was amazed at how fast this healing has come about.  They let me start walking at 9 weeks after the surgery and I was all prepared for waiting 12 weeks.  3 weeks early sure didn't hurt my feelings any. Have been living at a friends guest house, but will be moving back to the trailer park this weekend.  Has been a long haul, but not near as long as it could have been.

Thanks to everybody here....man it's good to be back.

Awesome to hear that you are ahead of schedule and making tremendous progress.  Keep the pressure on...you will make even bigger strides; always seemed to help me with the pain threshold for some reason.  When I pressed my rehab. after each of my 4 knee surgeries the pain just seemed to not hurt as bad.
The pool therapy will be a whole new ballgame, and if you will push thru this, you will definitely be stronger and recover faster than you would have with the old rehab.  Good luck!!!        :c       :bikerider:
