I will not ever let Wild West Honda touch my bike again.
They told me there was nothing wrong with my front end and when I looked at it, I turned the handlebar to the right and the fork hit the tank. I do not trust them for a second.

They have done good work for me in the past, so I trust them to the extent of the knowledge of the bike as stock.  I don't want them to remove the fairing since that's not part of their to the book manuals, besides i have wiring to it that powers my leds, radio, etc, so i would rather do it.

makes sence... smart move...

Wild West is good... the service guys are ok in my book.  I know that sometimes working on people's bikes, they can and will miss things.  I do too in my line of work, that does not make them or me bad at what we do.

Welcome to the club!  :banghead: Some one backed into my Warrior last summer and never looked back. Dont know who did it but it was $1,400 worth of damages. Everything is replaced and fixed except the fender. I took the bashed fender and cut it to a custom look. Its not great but its different.

Just saw your post.  Glad you weren't on the bike at the time.  Things can be fixed a lot easier than people.  Nevertheless, I understand your frustration about the timing.

Hope to see you at ROT.  I planning on arriving late Friday night.  I'll be spending part of Saturday afternoon and evening working at the vendor booth of my friend, Barry Jucha (Mounting Innovations), if you'd like to stop by.  Then, from 11:00 p.m. Saturday night until 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning, I'm going to be working as a radio dispatcher for the organization (MSET) that is providing emergency medical service for the ROT Rally, so I'll be in their treatment room (located near the center of the show barn) for that stretch of time.  I'll probably be showing up at the Fair Grounds sometime around lunch, and the time I spend working with my buddy Barry is flexible, so if you'd like to meet up sometime on Saturday and walk around a bit, that would be great.

I'm going to PM you with my cell phone number.
