D Day
« on: June 06, 2010, 10:34:40 AM »

Normandy ceremonies mark 66th anniversary of D-Day.Just a reminder of what today. My dad was on the second group that landed.Although he never talked about it like so many others would like to have known more about his service during the war.The only thing he really talked about was catching up to the SS group that murdered a alot of Americans that were prisoners at Malmady. He smiled after talking about it telling me that they took no prisoners. The last few years have been trying to find out more about his service during and after the war.He left the Army and went into the Air Force where he stayed for nearly 30 years  :flag:

\"The moment you taste it, something wet and dark leaps on you and starts humping you like a swamp dog in heat, and the only way to get it off you is to eat it off, It\'s Gumbo!! If you don\'t eat it then the mystery beast will go right on humping you.
