I have had a dyno run on my bike at Al Lambs Honda on 635 but only reason had it done there is because he had a super special going on!! When I was looking at getting mine Dynoed I just used the search and typed in Power Commandar in Dallas.Iam sure someone out there knows where a good place to go is!!

Yep, They moved across 635.  They are now located at 635 and 75 on the inside corner.

Jim Sabin is your man.

www.sabinperformance.com

He just mapped my bike.  He's done over 80 vtx's and is a former professional sport bike racer.  He knows his stuff.  If you use him, tell him Robert with the white vtx sent you.  It won't get you or I anything but I told him I would recommend him to others.

Watching a dyno tune is awesome. Take some earplugs or ear muffs. It's loud.

Always worried me they would slag the motor, the way they take it to the limiter.

Jim never hit the limiter on mine (came damn close but always rolled off just in time).  He also was very cognizant (sp?) of the engine temp.  He checked it constantly with a lazer temp guage and let it cool when it got to a certain temp.  Sometimes he would shut if off completely for a little bit, other times just letting it idle would bring it down.  The dyno room is like a wind tunnel when he turns those fans on!

Plus.. he didn't do anything that I don't do pretty much everytime I ride  O0 8) 8) 8)

BTW my Thunder Hurricane has arrived just about 30 min ago... O0

the instruction was by far the best.... ::) do I need to drill my stock velocity stack to make way for electrial probe? .. ... also do you get gasket with it too? I dont see any gasket and wanted to know how does it seal? do you just put rtv silicone between the adapter and the plate?...

Thanks for the props on the bike. I have some better pictures but haven't loaded them on the pc yet.  Here's some from when I got it back together - http://www.texasxriders.com/index.php?topic=929.0

Yes you'll have to drill the stock stacks.  You'll also have to trim the stacks to fit inside the adapter plate.  What I did was use my belt sander and take off plastic little by little until it fit perfect inside the adapter (before I installed anything).  The belt sander makes it easy to radius the corners for a good fit.  Then install the adapter, slip the stacks in and mark the IAT sensor hole. Take the stacks back out to drill it so you don't get plastic in the intake runner.

I didn't use any gasket material with mine.  You'll have to take 2 of the filter unit mount bolts off anytime you want to install/remove the front right plug so you don't want it permanent mount.  I just loosen one top bolt, then remove the other 2 and let it swing down out of the way (watch the tank)

As for dyno numbers, with the Hurricane, V&H exhaust, Monster baffles, Uber plugs and fresh Amsoil Synth I pulled 98.6hp/110ftlbs untuned and 98.8hp/112ftlbs tuned.  Not much difference but the rideability is much better.
