I rode to work last night around 9p and came home this morning around 12. I was a full hour late getting home since I took the longest route I could find. It was great. I try and ride to work as much as possible but I just cant deal with the cold very well . Even with all my gear I just end up cold the whole shift at work. Cant wait till the TX heat kicks back in. I love it. Thats why I moved here from WA.

I rode in twice last week to an office I was working days in- now I'm working nights in a sketchy part of town, and while usually that wouldn't be enough to deter me from riding, last time I rode to this office, I wound up with a punctured rear tire at 4am on the way home in an area infested with crackheads and crackwhores.

Two weeks ago I rode Dallas to Houston for work, rode to work every night for the week, and the rode home in the 38 degree weather. It was awesome- bearable now that I have good gloves (TourMaster Winter Elite II.) I was grinning all week- not only riding, but getting paid $0.50 a mile to ride... now _THAT'S_ living.

Exactly.  That's why I try to ride to all my appointments, as long as I don't have to carry a desktop PC home with me!  I love pulling up in front of someone's home and seeing the look on their faces!  ;D
