Nice thing about packing a badge and a gun is you have that two way radio sitting under the dash.. I know you ran his LP and know where he lives.. That game isnt over yet !!!!   LOL justice has a way of getting served in due course.. that arse is going to be watched each time he steps foot on the streets you guys patrol and he will get his due... Just a matter of time..  I am going to sit back and wait for the rest of the story..
------------------------------------------

I don't know who was driving the truck, or who the passenger was. I do know that the registered owner (a 19yoa kid) already has a history with LE; several chapters actually. He already gets watched a lot. I also know that when someone tries to f^@k with a cop, other cops notice. So yes, he'll get his; either from LE or he'll jack with someone as stupid as he is. It's a shame the world has to deal with morons of his ilk, but his kind support the shyster defense prostitutes and provide job security for LE. There are so many out there just like him or worse that I don't give him a second thought. He won't need my help to get what's coming to him; he'll do it all by himself. I only hope he doesn't take someone I know with him.

BTW, I forgot to mention...... a couple of years after I arrested that guy who pulled the gun on the motorist and chased him around South County, that same guy shot another guy at a party. He thought the other guy was sitting too close to his girlfriend, so he pulled a pistol and gutshot him.

Tweety, I applaud your decision. Despite what a lot of left-leaning idiots are preaching, you have the RIGHT (as in, it's NOT a privilege) to defend yourself and your family. Although some would disagree, I believe that you have an OBLIGATION to do so.

Our criminal justice system is broken; it has completely failed to deter and/or remove the criminal element from our society. My job is so utterly frustrating; I see the same lowlifes committing the same crimes over and over. I regularly see people who have had their homes, vehicles, and businesses burglarized or stolen two, three, four, or more times, just within the past year. Wednesday we had a pursuit at 125mph up into Conroe. Three turds from Houston in a vehicle that was carjacked at gunpoint last month in Houston. They changed the plates and have been using it to run dope (which they had a lot of in the car). They all had criminal histories. Already we are receiving criticism for failing to chase them politely enough. The turds have rights, and we respect those rights, but that doesn't mean that we are required to give them hugs before we handcuff them. Society is supposed to have rights too. Right now it's politically correct to venerate the activists and ignore the rights of the law-abiding citizens.

While I DO NOT endorse using deadly force to prevent petty thefts and even many felonies (unless the crooks force you to), I acknowledge that more and more people are fed up with being victimized, or living in fear of victimization, and many see that as the only way to fight back. Don't fall into the trap of seeing yourself as a one-man vigilante force out to right all wrongs. Use your CHL wisely to defend yourself, your family, and your possessions. Historically, public opinion has always swayed back and forth. I do believe that the current deterioration of some aspects of the quality of life here will be the catalyst for positive changes. Get your CHL; get it soon, and exercise prudent judgement when you carry your weapon. You might be interested to know that they are getting caught up in Austin. An applicant from my October class got his in about two months, and one of my November applicants called and said that he got his in 32 days. Good luck!

I think i am going to check into it.. I work for the city I live in.. I am the fleet supervisor and deal with our officers every day. I see and hear their stories about the turds that cross them.. The dash cam videos i sometime see scare the cranberries out of me. I see how stupid they are in front of cop. What chance to i have sitting or riding down the road. Even if i was packing and had to pull a weapon to protect myself there is no way of know if the arse isnt packing even more than i am???.

By the way.. If you or  any other of your officers you work with come down here for training and have car troubles. don't even think twice about having one of our officers get in touch with my office to help you out.. I do it all the time for outside agency's. I am well known here and my Manager has no problems at all in getting things taken care of and getting you guys back on the road again...

About 4 months ago I was in the car heading home when I noticed a white truck about two inches from my back bumper. I didn't speed up or slow down, just maintained my speed as I was coming into a series of 35 mph curves. The truck backed off and came back a couple of times, then went to pass me just as an oncoming car was coming around the curve. Brakes screamed, cars swerved and no one got hurt. A half a mile down the road he was right back on my bumper doing the same thing. On a 35 mph left hand turn he passed me in the oncoming lane. Then he took off. I noticed in the next turn he went into the oncoming lane to make the curve. I got angry, but didn't pursue. The last thing an oncoming vehicle needs would be two cars to miss.

I couldn't help envisioning the result if someone had been riding that day. In warmer weather I ride this road daily.

In the months since, I've seen the same truck doing the same thing twice. From where I have been it's been impossible to get the license number. I've spoken to a couple of local LE friends about it and they are watching.

Last Thursday on my way home the highway was blocked. I could see about 7 emergency vehicles ahead. From the line of traffic I knew that it was going to be a while before I got to the scene so I took the next turn and went home another way not knowing who the offender or victims might be.

I'm tired of being helpless to remedy the situation, but without proof, I can do nothing. There are a lot of white trucks on the road, and a lot of idiots. If I see it again I will try to get the license number. If I'm lucky I might even get the chance to violate their rights.
