Looking for a job.
« on: December 18, 2009, 12:28:55 PM »

40 hours a week just isn't cutting it. Looking for a job in the Houston area with some decent overtime. I really don't want to leave where I am, but I don't see work picking up anytime soon. Anybody have any any leads?

Overtime. What's that?  Hell most places only want to start paying undertime.  Hope you find something.

No welding or fitting experience. I did NDT inspection for about 5 years.  Pretty much open to anything that will pay the bills.

Sorry Hick, we were told not to buy anymore pens or pencils till next year. Just heard they let 25 people go yesterday. Bad time of year for that.

I would almost kill for a job period.... much less overtime. Be glad you have one, been 10 months since I've had a job. :violin:

Don't get me wrong. I'm very happy that I have a job. But since my wife has had to quit work for medical reasons, I am the only one bringing in money for the 5 of us. With her medical bills, as well as our other bills, being happy to have a job isn't buying food, meds, and paying the mortgage.
