Reed Valve block off
« on: June 25, 2009, 07:13:05 AM »

On Ebay there are these Reed Valve block off Kits for sale for around 15 bucks. They are described as eliminating
the popping and gurgling sound when the VTX slows down.
Anybody install these? Was there a good result?

All the Best,

 :agree:

Then go to http://www.bareasschoppers.com/ and find the tech write-up called PAIR removal (desmog).  This should give you everything you need.

I did it on my 06 1800 neo.  it stills gurgles just barely a little, but it did almost eliminate the decel popping.  I would say it stopped about 98%

FWIW Deer, dogs and wild pigs tend to hate decel popping...and will run away from it.   :bikerider:  :flag:  :c

Well according to PogoGolf if it keeps the critters away then it might be a good thing to keep.
