Bikes and Bugs 2 - June 6th.
« on: June 02, 2009, 06:30:30 PM »

"As I had said, on Saturday June 6th the Ragin Cajun in Sugar Land is having a "Bikes and Bugs" Bash to benifit "Kids with Epilepsy." It runs all day from 2 Pm - 10 PM. There will also be a bike wash from 1Pm - 6PM.

I will be there in the afternoon enjoying some fine Cajun food, Cold beer, and Zydeco music!

All are invited to join in ( except those pointed headed East Texans with Bug Juice running through their veins who hijacked the previous thread! )  ;)

Ever wonder WHY people give you a hard time ::)

Any way we have a great ride heading to South Louisiana 6/12 -14 if interested check out the Link in General discussion, or you can ride with a MEAT HEAD to a imitation crawfish boil ---- but it is a great cause and should be supported, so just send some money and come with us.  ;D

Not being from down there I couldn't imagine what difference(late in the season) would mean to a mud bug eater. To me, it means I get to eat enough to say I had a meal. I can hold my own(late in the season) cause they are harder to eat for every one. To watch a true Cajun go through a pile of mud bugs, is a sight to see, and a wonder to behold. I am going strong if I can fill one bucket of shells by the time the kin folk fill three.
I am going to sit next to Aunt Billy, and look pitiful next time.

Sorry to have missed ya. Earlier plans ran a little longer than expected. It didn't help that I ran out of gas on the Beltway either. Looks like I missed a pretty good time as when I showed up later there was still a crowd!
