June Tech Session
« on: May 26, 2009, 08:40:56 AM »

I have been wanting/needing to do some work on my bike for a while.  Since I have decided to go to Coloradical in July, I figured I need to get them done soon.  Since it is more fun having your friends point and laugh as you cuss and try to get your fat fingers around that small bolt, I am going to host a 'Tech Session' at my house on either June 13th or 20th.  I would like to invite some of the local 'Tech Wizards' to come show us noobs how it is done.

If you would like to attend, either as a wizard or a noob, post here your preference.  I will pick a day that seems like a good one for most.  I have room in my garage to work on two bikes easy, maybe three.  I have a stand and a jack so would need another stand to work on the third.  I will have cold beverages available and plan to fire up the grill and roast some dead meat after we are done.

I will post full details when I get an idea of a date preference.

Thanks,

David

Hmmmm...thinking that my labor force (Wayne) would definitely like a day off from the house remodeling that management (me) is requiring...so since he is going to be gone the weekend of June 20, why don't you put these two noobs down for June 13th as our preference.

Can we get Solo Puppy's bike there to work on? huh? huh? huh? I hear he has it up and running and we can't have that.

On a side note: Labor respectfully calls to Management's attention that although Labor is planning to be away the weekend of the 20th, Millie's owner  :dontcare: has not yet said we ARE going and therefore Labor may be ashore that weekend, also.   :idontknow:

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

I am off on the 13th not planning on ROT so this would be great. Also it would be an alternative for those not able to attend ROT.

I'll be at ROT showing off the new "Orange Rush!"  on the 13th. But I'll send over the ST and you all can wash and wax it for me!  :t

If the date otherwsie changes I'll try to come by and lend a hand. David, I have a stand you can borrow for the tech session. Not sure where you're located but if you need it we can probably make some arrangements.

Thanks Bro.  I should be good with what I have.  If not, there is a Sears about 3 miles away.

This will be at my house in West Houston near West Sam Houston Parkway and Clay Road.  I will post the details when I finalize the date.
