If you are still nervous, you should take the MSF course.

After I took that course, most of the nerves were gone.  There were only 3 guys in my class.  The other 15 or so, were women.  Most of them knew each other, and we had a great time.

Actually... I did take the MSF course in 2002 following an 18 year break from riding (while my daughter grew up).  Then I had a dog run under my wheels in early '04, followed by a 7 month recovery.

Not really a "case of nerves" (aside from that first ride home) so much as terrible heat through all of last week.  Yesterday was the first chance I've had, with decent weather, to get out... so I hopped on her and rode the 138 miles.   I feel much more at ease in her saddle now.   So much so I wanted to keep going but the temps got sweaty and I headed home.

I'll be out tomorrow...  :P
