Anything special required, besides a new filter, when changing from a mineral oil to Amsoil, or other synthetic?

Not that I'm aware of Frog. I changed at about 28,000 miles. I did waste a quart of synthetic by putting my drain plugs back in and pouring the quart of synthetic in, letting it sit for a minute and then draining it out. Probably didn't make any difference but it did take a liitle of the dino oil that was hung up in the engine out.
I wanted to fill it up with synthetic, run it and then drain but that would have been really expensive. I did drop the first batch of synthetic at 2,000 miles though.  ;)

Just my anal ways,

Bill

That's what I needed to know. Thanks to both.
