she stole her parents' car and drove it around at 3:45am with the headlights off

The car was reported stolen by the parents, cops didn't know she was related to the owners of the car at the time...

When I was 15, me and five of my buddies were picked up at a high school football game for drinking beer. In the station this buddy named Owens made an obnoxious gesture at one of the LEO's. Six cops jumped him and choked him almost dead....blue, purple almost dead.  That image is still vivid in my mind 41 years later. I told my dad about it and he replied "Owens got what was coming to him."

3 things;

1) I am respectful and calm whenever talking to police officers since that day.
2) In many ways, I think the world was a more respectful and better place back then.
3) I didn't know any girls that would antagonize a cop back then.

I was at age 15 there were 5 of us in my friends 62 T Bird, 3am, all drunk. The owner of the car was passed out with his head hanging out the window, he was over 21 but he was messed up in the head. We would feed him a few beers and he went out like a light. Then we would drive his car around all night drinking. Rick and I were in the back seat with Angie, We had told Kelly to stay away from the square in down town Memphis Texas. We were busy and Kelly couldn't resist making the square, sure enough, the local law got behind us and turned on his lights just after we got on the highway to home. Kelly slammed on the brakes and the cop rear ended us. Small damage to the T Bird, at least a busted radiator on the cop car. The cop was ballistic,and drew his gun. We were cooperative and friendly. He finally calmed down and put away the gun. We all went to the jail house, Joel who was still passed out and over 21 was put in a cell. Rick called his dad who had influence of some kind over the cops, he was coming to get us, The troopers left the local cop who had rear ended us in charge of baby sitting 4, 15 year old drunks. He got to telling us stories of his adventures as a cop, one of which involved a knife fight he had been involved in recently. Telling was not good enough, he had to demonstrate his smooth moves. He had my friend Rick lunge at him with a pocket knife. The cop did some kind of hokey move and stuck a 4 inch blade to the hilt in Ricks thy. All of us were in shock including the cop, It was bad at that point but it got worse when Ricks dad walked in yelling at us kids, then noticed the knife in his sons leg, He never said a word to the cop, he was still in WTF mode when the cop pulled his gun on him. He was escorted to a cell. While Rick's dad was being locked up, I called the trooper back to the jail. Rick still had the blade in his thy when the trooper arrived. Things got sorted out pretty fast after that. Rick saw the doc, got a band aid, every one went home, except for Joel who had warrants for other offenses. The cop went back to work building trailer houses. Joel got out 2 days later charges dismissed. No lawyer's involved.
It was not that, that cop was a bad guy for the most part. He made 4 bad mistakes that night, wrecking his car, pulling his gun on us, playing with knifes, and pulling his gun on Ricks dad.
I met the man 3 years later when I was home on leave from the navy, at a party in the baptist church parking lot. He wanted revenge, I wanted a shot of tequila, He got carried away. I no longer drink tequila.

if you look closely to the video posted by Gumbo's link you can see where the girl takes her shoe and kicks it to the cops, then she attempts to take her other shoe off,(as if she was told to take her shoes off) a split second later the cop kicks her and punches her and the beating begings... He also lied on his report.  I hope he gets some jail time...  I don't know what happens to cops when they go to jail but he needs some TLC from some inmates...

Man, if that was caught on tape happening to my daughter, it would be over in a heartbeat!!!  That SOB needs to be fired and jailed for well over a year!!!  And I'd let the inmates know who he is and what he does to 15-year old girls!

 Another forum said she was told to remove her shoes, the cops can't leave them with shoes or laces. They might use the shoes to hold a jailer hostage, tie the laces together, throw them out a window, then slide down them to make a get a way!

If the La Migra people ever look on the TexasXrider website and see how many words that you mispell they may take your lack of spelling acumen regarding the English language as an indication that you are in the country illegally
and take you in to custody for questioning.

In the event they should ever take you in to custody...do not kick your shoes at em, they'll very likely give you what the little girl got. 

If that ever does happen, can I have your Harley...I'd like to sell it and by a ZX-14 with the proceeds.
