Air Box

Hey Folks.

I bought a new airbox cover that has a open in the middle, will this open hole of extra air effect the performance my bike or is it good for extra air flow ?

As long as you are not getting to much more air you should be fine. If your getting a lot more air you will need to rejet. I had to do that on my old 750, It ran like crap over 3k rpm but it ran real strong until then. You will know if it is going to need rejetting the first time you ride it with it on.

One of those covers won't add enough air to cause any problems.  I want to look at one of those sometime. I wonder how it doesn't let unfiltered air into the intake?
