:agree: the back bolt is a biotch and of course I couldn't find my 1/4" drive 10 mm socket that would have worked great back there. Got it on but had hell getting the gas line back on over that plastic protective cover they had on the regulator. Finally gave up and took the cover off......went right on after that.  ::) Dark thirty got here before I finished so I'll have to finish it up tomorrow. Only took me two beers today, plus the one I lost. I think the dog hid it, can't find that sucker anywhere. Pretty sure I can finish in less than 8 beers.  :c

Bill, if I remember correctly that vacuum line was looking kinda dryrotted. You may want to change that puppy out.

I plan to Jim, they sent a couple of feet of the stuff. I'm also thinking about replacing the gas line from the tank and repositioning that quick connect to a place that's easier to get to. It shouldn't hurt anything if I lengthen that line should it?

Nope, it's just a fuel return line.

Vegas has the over/under on you at 4 beers. I'm bettin' under if you're keepin' the dog in the house.

Ok. I should have done this a while back. The bike is running better than it has in a while. Idling perfect again, and starts effortlessly.

Now I'm ready to ride. I'd better find my umbrella... ::)

You're a better mechanic than me. Fired mine up last night and it went straight to a slow idle. Usually it idles real fast until it gets warmed up. SO, this afternoon I throw the seat on and get ready to ride it to the gas store because I had run it bone dry. I am running on one cylinder is what it feels like. Brought it back home, jerked the seat back off, propped the full tank of gas up, took the breather back off and checked all the connections I had taken loose and all were on. Of course with a full tank of gas by the time I got through looking I had gas all around on the cement that came out of the over flow. I'm pissed and headed for the service manual to see what I screwed up....Hopefully I'll find something. If I end up putting the old fuel regulator back on and it runs good again, I will be very upset with Honda and thier parts.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
