Changing brake pads

Anything special about changing the brake pads? I've done it on vehicles many times but never on my 1800. Pull the pads, compress the piston back in and install new pads? Is it that easy? Any advise would be appreciated.

It's not hard at all. I'll try to find the pic's and how too's and post it up. about 10 minuets on the back, unless you've got saddlebags, and about the same for the front. If you have any trouble call Jim.

Try this. Go to page 15-10 when you get down loaded for the rear brakes, didn't look for the front but I know their there.

Awesome, thanks Hooter!
Do you recommend any certain type of pad? I found some on Bike Bandit, but it had no replies. See link below. Guess nobody has ever tried them. Maybe it cuz you get what you pay for, they're pretty cheap. Anyway, I appreciate your help!

First time changing pads on the bike. All went great until I got to the left front. I think the stealer where I bought the OEM pads gave me the wrong set for the left front.
Does anyone know the part number for each set? (OEM only) What I have is: Rear set 06435-MCV-016, Left front is 06435-MCH-006, and Front right set is 06455-MAT-E22. Left front pads won't go on, too thick.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

That's what I thought. I'll have to wait until Tuesday when they open back up to exchange
